Terrific Tips to help your learning athletics

In Te ngahere we have been doing Athletics for 5 weeks. The first one we did was long jump it was easy the first four were easy but it got harder I didn't make it the last one. The next was high jump I hate high jump because you have to jump in a scissor jump and it hard to do. My favourite is sprints and relays because you to run to your teammate that you chose and you have to run to your teammate it was hard because when you a almost to your teammate you have to speed up to get them.

What Do You Know About The Weekends

Kia ora, on the weekend I went possum hunting with my cousins and my uncle, but then we realised we had to go back home because we needed the quad to drive around on. After that we started to go hunting on the farm, the farm was so dark, then we heard a possum. After that we found it, then the possum was running away but my uncle shot the possum. I had to grab the possum, the possum was so fluffy but the possum was still moving in my hand so I got scared then I screamed loud, my uncle told me to be calm down because people are sleeping so I stopped screaming. We saw a rabbit looking at us my uncle told me and my cousins to leave it alone so we left it. Then we were getting tired so we went back home and went to bed. Have you been possum hunting before?

The Things You Need To Know About T-ball

In Te Ngahere we have been doing T-ball with our cool coach Kacey. So there are two teams, a batting and a Fielding team our team won by one point the full score was 6-5. There are three bases and a home base. We were fielding first, we got two people out by catching the ball or going the ball to the base before the person got to the base. There can only be one person on base ,a base at a time. The other team got four home runs and one  of our team out. Our team got four home runs and two outs that is how we won. It was hard to catch the ball  because it would go the other way. Did you know that t-ball is becoming a bigger sport?

Mind Blowing facts about our T Ball.

This term in Te Ngahere we have been learning how to play T Ball. The rules to T Ball are when you hit the ball you have to run even if you are already on a base. When there are no more chances to get anybody out the backstop shouts ball in and they get ready for the next batsman. Every time somebody makes it to home base then the batting team get one home run. After everyone on the batting team has a go at batting they switch over. When we played we batted first and got 7 points and when it was our teams time to bat I was the backstop. Robert was the backstop the whole entire game to get someone out because one of the people clipped the ball so I got it and put the ball on homebase before the runner did. In the end my team won the score was 11 to us and 7 to the other team. I really enjoyed the game because it was fun to play. Have you ever played T Ball  before?
