My life

 Hi my name is Manu ,I’m a new student at Paihia School. I live on the Extravaganza fair. I work for my Dad I make pancakes for him. My Brother works for the candy floss man. We all enjoy it its super fun. I travel around NZ in my blue truck all year and come back in winter. I’m happy that I have a School to go to erey day and I can’t wait to go back to  the fair.I can do a fire show using fire poi.  The Extravaganza fair stops every weekend at a new field. There are a lot of shops like a merry go round,  crystal shop and a coffee shop and much more. There are clam shops like massages and     tea reading. The Extravaganza starts at the bottom of Invercargill up to the top of the Bay of Island. The fair travails for 36 weeks.

The Fun Science Roadshow Science Exhibit

 On Monday 21st of June Te Ngahere went to a road show at Kawakawa, Bay of Islands College. When we first arrived at the Bay Of Islands School. We walked into their big fancy hall. Then we sat down on the cold floor so we could watch the first show. We sat on the ground for a few minutes before they started to talk. Then we walked around to different science exhibits and they had a lot of different activities to do. There were  Bay College students standing there, explaining all of  the tricky exhibits because we didn't know what to do. I  walked around to a toilet flush activity and it teaches you how to use a toilet. I walked over to another one and you had to try to balance a plastic ball on top of a pipe that blew air out. My favorite exhibit was the one that you had to create a shape out of light fluffy string. I created a circle and made another circle so I could tie them together. I made progress and it flew half way up to the roof. I learnt how light things will fly because it doesn’t  have that much weight on it unlike the balls that I tried. I tried to make them fly but they had too much weight on them.  Have you ever been to a science roadshow ?
