I Can help You Keep Your Chromebook Safe

In Te Ngahere for the past 2 weeks we have been learning about kawa of care. Kawa of care is about how to look after your chromebook and the things you need to know about it. The thing that I use to struggle with is keeping my chromebook in my case and remembering to charge at home. I think I have overcome this problem by always remembering what to do. Here is a slide I have made to show people how to look after their chromebook.

When I Moved Schools

I am Zac I am eleven years old and I am going to be telling you about myself and how I felt about moving schools.

I felt really nervous about moving to Paihia school but it’s good so far. I haven’t changed my mind about Whangarei Primary being the best school. I have Shay, Robert, Brooklyn, Mark and Warren as friends. They are nice and funny they make school a good time they are like my friends at Whangarei Primary.  I really like both schools. If you moved school would you find it hard to make friends?

Movie Making

This week in Te Ngahere we have been working on movie making. We all had to get into groups, in my group is Nevaeh, Jorjah, Anyah, Mihi and Tizara we all had to come up with an idea for the movie. Our movie is called Lora the Maori Explorer. We all have different roles in the group Mihi and Nevaeh are the directors and editors, Jorjah, Tizara, Anyah and I are the actors. The movie has to last between 2-3 minutes. I found it hard to write the script because it was hard to come up with the ideas for the movie. I enjoyed acting in the movie because it was really fun. Have you ever had to make a movie?

Movie Making

This week in Te Ngahere we have started our planning for our movie. First we had to get into a group. In my group is Autumn, Gail, Imogen and I . We are working on our script which to me is the one of the hardest thing because you have to make sure the conversations are flowing and also make sure the acting is on point. The hardest thing would be the filming because you have to find the different types of shots and also where you’re gonna shoot every scene from. Gail is the filmer and the director and the rest of us are actors. The fun part is probably the acting, because if you don’t do good enough you won’t pull it off and it would look really bad.

Have you ever made a mini movie?

Mosaic Art

This week for art we have been making mosaic art on our chromebook. First we opened a google drawing and filed it in other. After that we needed to find a picture that we wanted to make a mosaic out of. Then we used a polyline tool to make different shapes over the top of the photo, then color the shapes to match the color on the photo. At first making all of the shapes was hard because the polyline tool was challenging to use. The shapes also  had to be quite big for the polyline tool to work. After I found out how to use the polyline is was really easy. Matching the color was also rather easy. Have you ever made a mosaic on a chromebook or computer?

Kia ora Bloggers. Last Friday I went roller skating with my friends and broke my arm. I fell backwards and landed on my left arm. I had to go to hospital and get X-rays and have a cast put on. It took a very long time but I had my best friend with me when I did it and he wanted to come to hospital with me. We didn't get home until midnight. Here is my X-ray.
