maths DLO

In Te Ngahere we have been learning about using doubling and halving. By using doubling and halving it simplifies big multiplication problems for example 14x5 if you halve 14 and get 7 then double 5 and get 10 so 7x10 = 70.

This week we had to make a maths DLO to explain and to show why we use this strategy and how it works.  

I think i did well showing of how it works I enjoyed making the DLO because every time you forget or don’t remember how to use the strategy you can look back at the DLO you made and remember how to use it. I could do better with having less words in my DLO
