Fidget Spinner Art

A few Weeks ago Te Ngahere And Te Maunga did Some  Fidget Spinner  Art, we were learning to use up all the space and use  dye and crayon on an  A3 piece of paper. It was pretty hard because we had to use up all the space on such a big piece of paper. We used a lot  of different shapes using bowls and cups. Doing the Art was so awesome and we hope we can do it again!!!

  1. Kia ora Te Ngahere,

I am Greanne. A student at Karoro School in the South Island of New Zealand. I really like the topic you choose about fidget spinners. Why did you choose the topic of fidget spinners? We also did a project on fidget spinners.

We wrote a persuasive piece of writing about whether we should or shouldn’t have fidget spinners in the classroom. I went against having fidget spinners in the class. You can find that piece of work on my blog. What do you think? Should fidget spinners be permitted in class or not? Before you answer listen to my persuasive writing.

To improve your work you could add more photographs so we could see to process you went through to create this fidget spinner artwork and the finished result. Also adding a bit more description explaining the process. You could also present you work on slides. Other than that you have done a fantastic job.

    Kind regards
    Greanne

My name is Josh, I go to Karoro School in Greymouth. I like the type of art you are doing in this picture. Filling up an entire page of A3. Although I do have one question, why fidget spinners? Was it a class vote? Or an executive decision?

We ourselves have wrote a persuasive speech on fidget spinners. You can view it on our class blog. While it never really was discussed as to who won, most of our class went against. Do you think they should be allowed in class? Or do you think they should be banned?

While the post was pretty good, it does have some flaws. There isn’t much information about the process. What did it look like after it was done? Did it look like what you wanted it too? Or did it more fall on it’s face?

    Truly yours
    Josh
