Cross Country

Kia ora bloggers, On Friday the 30th of August Paihia School went to Bledisloe Domain to do our school cross country. We were learning to give something a try even if you don’t like it because some people like maths and reading and some people like sports. We set out around 10:55. When we reached Bledisloe Domain we set out our tarpaulin. Our PTA , (PTA meaning parent-teacher association) were cooking us some kai for after our races. The races started not long after we had arrived at the Domain. Whaea Becks and Mrs Williams assigned marshals , (marshals are people that stand on the sideline to encourage and show the teina what direction to go in) , we went in age groups. Whatever age you were on that day was the race that you were going to run in. We started off with our 5 year olds working our way up to our 13 year olds. Everybody gave the race a great try. We are so proud of all the students that attend Paihia School.
