Maromaku Day
Last term 20th of June a few students got selected to represent Paihia School at the Maromaku sports day. Some students played netball and some students played rugby. The day was very hot while people were playing their games. One of the netball courts was on the concrete the the other ones was on the field. Some of the school that were there that I know was Karatu, Kawakawa, Paihia, Opua, Whananaki, Waikare and Maromaku. There was a food store held by Maromaku, there was drinks, baking, ice block and sausages sizzle. Everyone had a fantastic day, and we can't wait to play again next year.
