Today we had Whaea Leela Hauraki from Sporth Northland visit our school. In one hour we had to negotiate our rules and we had to learn to play this game using our 4 hoe; manaakitangi, kaha, whanaungatanga and respect. Whaea Leela also explained that we must awhi everyone, so that we don't put others down.
We had a great time and Miss Simeon will include Ki-o-rahi into our weekly timetable so that we will be ready for the tournament held in week 7.
