Molly's Reading Goals
Last week in Te Ngahere we made our reading goals. We are learning to identify our next learning goals. My group (The White Group) looked through a sheet of reading techniques, and found strategies we could do, and strategies we found difficult. Once we found three strategies we struggled with. These were our goals. These goals will help us to increase our knowledge of reading.

Hello, My name is Sanujan and I am from Panmure Bridge School.
ReplyDeleteIt is great to see that you have been setting goals for reading. It is also funny when you put Mr Bean reading a book as your background. How do plan to accomplish your goal? Next time I suggest you to use another colour for your text because it is a little bit hard to read. But I think it is a great work and keep it up.
Your Sincerely
Sanujan
Hi I am Miki from Panmure Bridge School
ReplyDeleteI really like your blog post and how you explained it. The only thing you could fix is your word because it is hard to read.
Dear Molly, I love yor work, the reding goals are perfect and I just love the picture of Mr. Bean. not most people have the guts to do that but your not a everyday person. it was a great peice but the white writing was a bad idea. I haven't got a different colour in mind but you could have put in a coloured text box next to his head ( both sides) well its been nice but see ya.

Kia ora Molly,
ReplyDeleteI am Greanne, a student at Karoro School in the South Island of New Zealand. I think your goals are appropriate and easy to accomplish. We also write new goals every term for us to accomplish by the end of the term. We write a writing, maths, and reading goal for ourselves. Also we have a year 8 and 7 criteria that we follow and mark off once we have completed the task.
I really like the Mr Bean image you had as your background. It was unique and caught my attention. Your heading was big, bold and easy to read. I like how you created your own goals instead of the teacher writing the goal for you. It is a way to include students in what they are learning.
Next time you could include a time frame of your goal. Also it is a bit difficult to read your goals. Perhaps by using a different colour and making the font bolder it would make the words easier to read. Have you heard of a SMART goal? This is the process we use to write our goals.
Kind regards
Greanne
